Roane County Commission will be voting on a Resolution telling the General Assembly what to do about the “red flag laws”.
A pet peeve of mine is Elected officials that do not know their role. So a resolution by some County Commissioners telling Senator Ken Yager, State Rep. Ron Travis and Kent Calfee what to do is interesting.
What if the General Assembly passes a Resolution telling the Commission what to do? When and Where does it end?
It ended in the second amendment, where it states “shall not be infringed”. Maybe you need to read the Bill of Rights. Just a suggestion. As a Roane county citizen, I find this to be refreshing. Finally something that the LARGE majority of your constituents believe in.
